Sun Kam's uncle is an astronaut who will soon be leaving on a space mission. When her teacher tells the class they will be studying the solar system, Kam suggest they write e-mails to her uncle in space. Everyone is excitedly talking about it except the new student, Samuel who just moved to the United States. With Kam's help Samuel overcome his fears. Samuel then helps consoles Kam when she is afraid because her uncle did not respond to their e-mail.
