The exhibition of Fernanda Gomes (Rio de Janeiro, 1960) is developed in close relationship with the space in which it is deployed. Frequently her exhibitions involve architectures within the architecture and generate spaces at different scales. For this exhibition, she has produced works - or as she calls them, "things" - in dialogue with the specific conditions of Gallery 1 of the Jumex Museum, while also developing some of her recent explorations. The artist bases her work process on the relationship she establishes with the exhibition space, which she carefully studies and intervenes over a significant period of time.
