Community-based caregiving is a vital mode of support for older adults with developmental disabilities. This program examines how, within Latino, African-American, and Asian-American cultural contexts, the needs of high-functioning members of this population are being met through the empowering assistance of their families and through healthcare and employment programs that promote self-determination.
