I have not read this particular book from Mark and Delia Owens - yet- but I have read Cry of the Kalahari and Secrets of the Savannah which covered some of the stories in this book. If you enjoy stories about African animals and the people who live and work with them, you will find these books hard to put down. THey are full of fascinating stories about Africa, its animals and the breathtaking beauty and inherent dangers and difficulties of living and traveling in a land that is 5 times the size of the US. Mark and Delia have devoted 23 years of their lives to African wildlife and the indigenous people they lived near.
